svn - demystify source version control with visual studio 2010 -

update

Then I was just disappointed in my original question because I The source control was being pushed to use but I could not understand it (after using SVN and VSS)

I saw a little, and after seeing it several times, decided to read and practically my salvation.

DCVS , (at least for me to be the same god) is just understandable, and I understand the source control. DCVS is way / philosophy that both work on GIT and Mercurial, I think these two are very similar, though , GIT is not developed on Windows, though Mercurial The good tool @ grenade has mentioned them all in their reply. The establishments were painless and now I am working very happily.

Besides, what I'm using, which is based on Mercurial and is great! = D

Read the whole thing, even if you think it does not apply to you!

- Generally enjoyable and you understand what DCVS is it can be helpful.

Note, and support both of Mercurial

Basic Question:
God Whatever I ask is for some simple software that will keep the versions of my files and return those I want to.

Personally, I thought that just to use a good backup tool, I just copy one of my folders to another drive when I want but they said that I use some source version Will happen.

I already posted the problem with SVN now its GIT

I downloaded msysgit preview 1.7.2.3 here, then GIT extension from code.google.com then I downloaded p4merge from here:

I have Win7 with VS 2008 X is 64. I VS I see the GIT menu, but nothing happens! God!

Worst, where are the docs? Whats Bash, hide, cherry pick? VS GIT toolbar or VS In anything on the Git menu I do nothing! I downloaded full setup: but I dont see KDiff3 anywhere on my PC?

Someone has suggested some big projects to me I do not allow large projects, most of them are home utilities I am a man's team and I like to keep it simple.

Note: I need to work with Win7x64 and VS2010, vs2008 on my home PC but Dev Box at VS10

A very simple tutorial that will show you an easy way to manage source code.

Git is a good one, but I do not use it, so I do not know what happened wrong. I use it with you, and in Joel's tutorial on some personal treasure, you tell all that you need to know.
