flex - Separate script files in ActionScript? -

I'm new to flex development though my share of experience in asp.net is. I am looking for the equivalent of external JS script files. My current status includes the following:

I have a lot of script code (), and I want to clear it a bit. Maybe it is possible by putting them into separate files? If so how?

You can use the included keyword. This allows you to split files into smaller parts.

Keep in mind that this is different from creating and importing a category.

  Include "my_file.as";  

Keep in mind that if you are not using relative file space, then is operating system dependent in it includes Windows / Mac / Linux directory separator.

@ vondip - Try to think of it as a cutting code within script tags instead of doing it with MSML.

You will probably be searching, as you progress, you will be lean to use many more functions and to use many small tasks to use a controller and you have made Bypassing the need to cut your code using imported classes. This is a more open way of life and when you debug one day it will help Uber.
