Not sure I can explain this well, but here it is. I'm trying to create an app that will load a map and save it as an image on the SD card, but I want to do it in the background. I have found at that point where I can display a map in foreground activity and save it in a file, but I can not think of a way to do this in the background. In other words, I want to set it up so that There will be an icon on the Home screen in the app, and by clicking on the icon a map will be loaded in a specific geographical location and it can be used to display a p Will save private files. Or leave the home screen. Will such a thing be possible?
