jquery - Colorbox -- how to open submitted form in colorbox pop-up? -

I have a form on a webpage when the user enters the input, and submits, then I Would like the colorbox to pop-up together.

How to think about this?

I'm thinking that I have to change the form data into a string, tell it to open at the end of the URL, and then send it to the color box. Is this the right way to go about it, or is this an easy way?
