I am using VS 2010 for several weeks without any performance issues. << P>
I continued JetBrains to dotCover several days ago and things went well, but today before my first code coverage ran the test I clicked twice on one of the report results and it successfully The code was taken to the referenced line.
I accidentally clicked on the line of code, dragged the context menu up and the navigated menu item became lighter.
After moments, the visual studio slipped and later crashed.
I stopped and opened again and the visual studio will not open clearly. I had uninstalled Dot Coover and was able to open Visual Studio, but it took several minutes to open the project.
I am also showing that Devanv XE runs quickly up to 1,500,000, can never be cured, I'm not sure what was going on when I did not have problems, but I could not believe it was high.
Now I doubt that the problem was with the dot cavar but maybe some intellisense cash or something else knows?
When I set a general general priority on the devenv.exe process, I get some relief, but the machine CPU is not bound.
Has anyone seen such problems or has any suggestions?
Hmya, the add-in market for Visual Studio is a whole new ball game in the DLL Hell Stadium. The VS2010 consumer 1 1/2 gigabyte is absolutely absurd of memory plain vanilla is incredibly less than ~ 300 MB or more.
Download the SysInternals' ProcMon utility and find out that reading the file that is going to delete the add-in is reading it badly to get it out of control. The tool will generate a lot of trace data, yet you will not have any problem finding out which file it takes, how long it is. Erase it You probably should consider uninstalling it, it's just sloping.
