castle monorail - Does NVelocity support foreach.count? -

I am using the Castle project and accordingly I should be able to reach the loop counter like this:

$ foreach.counter

But I'm not getting it to do this work, so I doubt that it has not been implemented in envelcity.

Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, this has been implemented, but it is called $ velocity
