I am using the accelerometer to move the object on my screen. This is only working when the iPhone is flat.
If I use the iPhone in another situation, then I do not like the object (Y axis is not well managed).
So, I have to find the position of the accelerometer, I think but I do not know how to do it.
Please help me.
Thanks in advance.
Regards, Alpiez
Hi hope that all is well this beautiful A simple Google search came along with the post, this is what you wanted a tutorial on accelerometer calibration & amp; Optimization.
This tutorial assumes that you know the basics of Accelerometer. If there are not many tutorials on Google that will help you get accustomed to accelerometer basics.
This tutorial will focus on 3 things:
- Calibrate the accelerometer so that users can play your game from any position.
- To change the "sensitivity" of your object's movement.
- Adding the option to "invoke" the controls.
First of all, why bother linking these features? easy. Launch your accelerometer based game and try the following tests:
- Play sitting in the right position.
- List items
- Run it on the sledge. / Li>
- Lie it on your side.
- Keep it playing on your back with a parallel device on the floor and the screen that's in front of you.
