In my SSIS package I found a WMI event voucher, which successfully sees a folder for the file. (I.e. in debug mode, when I copy the file to a folder viewed, green is changed.)
I have data flow flow to import this (excel) file into SXL database Job is added.
Then,
(A) I am using the right 'work' to import my data and if so ..
(B) Why does not the import of data flow work any ideas about it.

Without seeing the package, I will check to ensure that the line out of the script work is a success line (green).
I will also check that I do not know enough about WMI (in fact anything) ... but I have used file viewer work excellence in my last two projects
