I have a php application that does not use the MVC model which I call as a plugin in my codeigniter app Just like the issue CI documentation seems like it supports only one file plugin What is the best way to go about implementing an extension?
CI has no solution on this. The reason for this is that to try to throw an application in another application like to drive two people. Both will stand next to each other, and attempts to meet the driving goal will be a balanced work between the two.
This exception will be HMVC because it has created multiple MVC instances within each of the applications running in the name of CI, and if you put CII in another application for most part There should be at least conflicts.
This is not really the best practice, but if you insist on pushing this approach down, then I will use one controller as a bootstrap or pointer for another application. To avoid conflicts with CI, keep remaining other applications in the form of a folder in the CI. You probably have to change the path in small quantities, as well as the URL to work again.
