c++ - Placeholder for C++0x's <thread> header in MSVC++ 2010 -

I'm already using some new features in Visual C ++ 2010 from C ++ 0x, like regular Expression or Lambda Functions But there is one key feature which is not missed: header .

Do you know any code that is Replacement ?

At the moment I am using Boost thread, but it is not similar to standard, and this gives me big compilation time. I also found: Thread, but if I am an amateur, I Do not want to spend money.

I do not think it would be very hard for code (though I may be wrong) but I do not know enough Win32 API to do this.

I have promoted the : thread in the display-sensitive output code And the way we can create ourselves in a sensible amount of time, is more sophisticated and demonstrative than the reader-writer lock is a matter of particular beauty imo. If you need help, then you have an added benefit which is active on stack overflow.

Since you are on Windows, you may be able to improve the compiled time to avoid overuse of Visual Studio again. Boost head load.
