wordpress - most stable / useful way to blog in Magento -

I'm aware of various ways:

  • To match the theme (fake integration)
  • Lazzymonk
  • Create Magento's header and footer.
  • And:

... Any feedback on the implementation and use of the real world has been greatly appreciated.

I agree with @Silvo's answer. The AW_Blog extension has been written using the preferred Magento approach. Posts, tags, comments, and other blog artworks are used by all Magento models and collections, and are accessed through regular blocks and scenes. The blog writing interface is integrated into the Magento back-end, so you have the authentication and stability of the authorization. This means that the possibility of breaking in the future is very low, unlike Mage_Enabler or other "unclean" integration.

I have used the AW_Blog extension and its functionality is very satisfied with IMHO, there is no need to integrate WordPress (enter the blogging engine of choice).
