mod rewrite - httpd.conf rewriterules per project on local server -

I'm getting multiple projects on the same local server and wondering if the rewrite rules for each project It is possible to keep the httpd.conf file instead of the .htaccess file for each project.

Is the httpd.conf file similar in .htaccess because I have never used it before?

Thank you.

Yes, it is possible:

This module per-server Works in full URL (including path information part) in both reference (httpd.conf) and per-directory reference (.htaccess) [...]

An .htaccess file The main difference between using mod_rewrite in and the syntax of a different method is:

When using the rewriting engine in .htaccess, per-directory prefix files (which are always a specific value Same for Deshika) pattern removed automatically matched G and automatically replaced with added .

So when the path prefix has been first removed and thus should also be removed from the pattern, the full path should be provided when using in any other reference.
